Popoyo is known for its year-round consistency, with waves breaking 12 months of the year. Whether you’re looking for soft and playful waves, punchy beach breaks, point breaks, or perfect A-frames, there’s something here for everyone.

Year Round Surf Seasons

January & February: Waves during these months are typically smaller with strong off-shore winds. This is the dry season and water temperature is slightly cooler.

March through September: This is prime swell season, with consistent swells ranging from head-high to double overhead. Consistent light off-shore winds create perfect conditions during these months.

October: October usually brings onshore winds and rain with occasional windows of clean surf.

November and December: Waves during these months are fun and consistent ranging from head-high to overhead with excellent wind conditions.

At Two Brothers, your stay includes unlimited surf guiding (up to three sessions daily), unlimited boat trips to world-class breaks, surf lessons for all levels, and high-quality board rentals available for an extra fee. Surf photography offered for extra fee.

Two Brothers is open March – September and November to ensure our guests score the best waves on their surf trip.

Surf Photography

Professional on-site land photographer available for daily surf photography. Pricing is flexible based on the number of sessions and surfers. Water photography can also be arranged upon request.

Surfboard Rentals

Surfboard rentals are available for $15 a day. Our options include short boards, fun boards, fishes, thrusters, twin fins and quads, outer-reef guns, long boards and boogie boards. Boards are evenly split between epoxy and glass.
